We are now looking for a
Senior Healthcare Assistant
to join our dedicated team -- someone with the experience, compassion and confidence to support both residents and colleagues in delivering exceptional care.The Role
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you'll play a key role in leading shifts, supporting the care team and ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care in a safe and nurturing environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of carers to deliver person-centred care Administer medication safely and in line with policy Assist residents with all aspects of daily living, promoting dignity and independence Contribute to care planning, reviews and record keeping Liaise with families, healthcare professionals and management Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and wellbeing throughout the home
About You
We're looking for a confident, caring and motivated individual with a genuine passion for supporting others.
Essential:
Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant (minimum 2 years) SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (SVQ Level 3 preferred) Medication administration experience Strong communication and leadership skills Reliable and committed to providing quality care
Desirable:
Experience in dementia care Knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards
