Overview





We are looking for a Full Time Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our Burleigh Hill Team. The contract is for 4 nights per week, 4 x 12 hour night shifts allocated between Monday to Sunday.


Sponsorship is available for this role.




Duties





To work as a trained multi-skilled member of the team providing various aspects of care to elderly and physically disabled residents. To provide and assist with training of Healthcare Assistants. To monitor standards of care within the home and to ensure a high quality, caring service is provided at all times.


Essential Criteria




1 years experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a Nursing Home or similar environment Be registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council

(NISCC)

Applicants must have English Language ability to at least

CEFR level B1

in reading, writing, speaking and listening, as required for the Skilled Worker Visa. Evidence may include an approved English Language Test (e.g. IELTS for UKVI), as UK qualification or a degree taught in English. Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Criteria




NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent. 2 years experience in nursing home or similar environment. Previous experience as Senior Healthcare Assistant or supervisory capacity. Previous experience in induction or training role.

Burleigh Hill House joined MD Healthcare in 2016. Situated in historic Carrickfergus, the purpose-built home has been established for over 20 years and offers both Nursing and Residential care. There are beautiful dayrooms, dining rooms and quiet areas around the home for residents along with a beautiful summer house in the garden.
