Kitnocks House is a 63-bed service made up of four specialised units, each offering high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of our residents. We support people with a range of complex conditions, always focusing on the person behind the diagnosis. We're proud to be rated Good by the CQC.
What hours will you work?
Working for us gives you more time for you with a 7 out of 14 day working pattern.
Week A - 3 days - Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 07.30 to 20.00
Week B - 4 days - Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday: 07.30 to 20.00
Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week.
Pay rate
14.52 - 16.52 per hour (subject to NVQ Lvl 3 and level of experience).
What do you need?
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in Care within the UK (essential)
NVQ Level 2 in health & social care, with a willingness to complete NVQ Level 3 upon successful placement.
Strong leadership skills to guide and support a team of care assistants.
Ability to support with the development and delivery of care plans for residents.
Understanding of safeguarding procedures and the ability to follow and implement care standards.
Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
A strong mind-set to support adults with complex needs in a compassionate and professional manner.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation in line with care standards and regulatory requirements.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
What will you be doing?
Prioritising workload of the care team, seeking advice from the nurse in charge where necessary
Participate in meetings including staff meetings, case reviews, clinical reviews, as prescribed by the Nurse in charge
Observe resident progress against planned goals and report changes in the residents' condition or care needs to a registered nurse
Supporting all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes and social activities
Helping residents to remain as independent as possible
Respecting residents right of choice, privacy and dignity at all times

About Us
Cornerstone Healthcare provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.
Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.
We currently have 3 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, & Mytchett with 2 new services set to open in Bristol and Birmingham in 2025.
