Utranazz, the UK's leading supplier of concrete equipment, is seeking a Senior HGV and/or Heavy Plant Engineer-Fitter to lead on complex diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of our specialist concrete machinery. This is a hands-on, senior-level role suited to an experienced engineer looking to apply their skills in a niche, highly technical environment.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will work on a diverse fleet of equipment including concrete mixers, pumps, batching plants, silos, and volumetric mixers - both in our Bicester workshop and at customer sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead on advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of concrete equipment with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
Oversee and support less experienced engineers when required.
Conduct equipment inspections, testing, and final commissioning before dispatch or after repair.
Represent Utranazz professionally on customer sites, offering technical advice and on-the-spot fault resolution.
Assist with continuous improvement of workshop practices and service quality.
What We're Looking For:
Extensive hands-on experience as a senior-level HGV or heavy plant engineer/fitter, ideally within the concrete equipment or construction machinery industry.
High-level expertise across mechanics, hydraulics, 12/24V & 3-Phase electrics, electronics and diagnostics (CANbus, PLC systems etc.).
Proven ability to work independently in both workshop and field environments being a direct representative of Utranazz with our customer.
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Full UK driving licence required.
