Are you ready to play a vital role in protecting public funds and improving road safety in our city?

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Highways Safety & Claims Officer to manage and lead our highway claims defence process.

In this key role, you'll coordinate statutory defence processes, manage public liability claims, lead a team of inspectors, and act as a vital link between the council, the public, and legal stakeholders.

You'll conduct inspections, gather evidence, and help shape service improvements based on claims data. We're looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of highway legislation, proven experience in handling claims, and great communication and leadership skills.
