The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity within the
Asset Information Team
, part of the Highways Operation Centre (HOC). We're seeking a proactive and organised individual to supervise our Asset Information Team, ensuring the smooth and customer-focused delivery of essential highways services.
This role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their career in a fast-paced, evolving environment. If you're keen to develop your skills while supporting and developing a team, this is the role for you.
What you'll do:
As Team Leader, you'll play an integral part in supporting the delivery of Hampshire Highways Service. We strive to deliver an outstanding service that is efficient and cost effective, meeting the needs of Hampshire's residents and our partners.
You will manage workflow, prioritise workloads, and support your team's development through mentoring and regular reviews. Handling complex enquiries, overseeing GIS mapping and data updates, and playing a key part in maintaining statutory records is also key. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement, deliver excellent customer service, and support cost recovery and financial processes.
What we're looking for:
We're looking for a key team player who is enthusiastic, proactive and forward-thinking. You'll be a confident communicator and dynamic problem solver, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellent customer service. Experience in line management would be advantageous, but is not necessarily essential.
