Ideally, we are looking to recruit someone at the senior level of this career graded post who is experienced and technically competent in private sector housing enforcement with a relevant degree.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to new ways of collaborative working and help ensure the improvement of housing conditions across Teignbridge.
This role will be responsible for both reactive and proactive enforcement work as well as providing support to agents, landlords and tenants. The role will be responsible for enforcing the new legal duties proposed under the Renters Rights Bill, including issuing civil penalties and supporting tribunal applications.

Have a relevant housing qualification or be committed to learning and development.
Be experienced in dealing with customers, ideally in a Housing service.
