Role Purpose
The Senior HR Advisor provides high-quality, professional HR support across the organisation. The role is responsible for managing complex employee relations matters, supporting and coaching managers, supporting compliance with employment legislation, and helping drive consistent HR practice. The Senior HR Advisor acts as a key link between operational teams and the strategic HR agenda.
Key Responsibilities
Lead on complex ER casework including discipline, grievance, performance, absence, restructuring, TUPE, and consultation.
Provide timely, pragmatic advice to managers to support effective and fair decision-making.
Ensure documentation, process, and outcomes are legally compliant and align with internal policy.
Support managers to develop confidence and capability in people management.
Deliver coaching, briefing sessions and structured learning to upskill leaders and teams.
Support the ongoing review and development of HR policies and procedures.
Ensure HR compliance with relevant UK employment law and organisational standards.
Support recruitment processes including job design, interviews and selection.
Oversee effective onboarding and probation processes.
Maintain accurate employee records and produce HR reports.
Contribute to HR projects such as organisational change and engagement initiatives.

Proven experience in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role.
