Job Description

We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our growing team at our head office in the centre of Burton Upon Trent. We currently have four team members in our and need an additional person to complete the team.

Job Summary


The HR Advisor will act as a point of contact for all employee relations, policy, and contractual issues across a multi-site operation. The role will support the Head of HR in delivering the HR strategy to the people across all Bayleaf subsidiaries, providing pragmatic advice and guidance as well as supporting the implementation of key projects. The role will also provide support to the wider HR team in relation to safer recruitment administration and ensuring that all documentation is completed ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities


Provide advice and guidance on people issues including absence, performance management, grievances and disciplinary procedures.

Develop robust relationships with managers within the business to provide proactive support regarding people-related issues.

Leading/supporting investigations where required and guiding managers through the various HR processes.

Actively work with the HR team to develop and deliver HR training as required across the business.

Support the Head of HR in developing, implementing and maintaining HR policies that align with company objectives and statutory requirements.

Support the team with systems and processes liaising with stakeholders to ensure that necessary paperwork/documentation is completed and returned including monthly payroll processing.

Ensuring continuing, personal and professional development, taking ownership and accountability for remaining up-to-date with statutory obligations and best practice.

As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and amended in consultation with the postholder.

There are currently three children's homes open, with another two homes due to open by late spring and a further two homes opening by the end of 2025. We are also moving into adult services and our first adult residential home is due to open in September.

Additional Information



The post holder will be expected and encouraged to continuously develop in their role. It is in the nature of the work with Bayleaf Care Ltd. that tasks and responsibilities are, in many circumstances, unpredictable and varied, and the role may not have an extensive description of direct/overall responsibility. Not all tasks are exclusive to the position; whereby operational management is deployed throughout the organisation and line managed as per the employment structure of the home.

Schedule

Full-time, Permanent

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Weekends may very occasionally be required depending on the business needs
Pay: 32,000 per year
