Overview



As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, commercially focused HR solutions that align with Gallagher's values and business objectives. You will work closely with the HR Business Partner to provide expert guidance on employee relations, wellbeing initiatives, performance management, and learning and development. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support managers in building their people management capabilities, ensuring they are equipped to lead their teams effectively.

In this role, you will manage complex employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance issues, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies. You will also play a pivotal role in driving wellbeing initiatives, supporting employees through occupational health referrals, and promoting a culture of care and engagement. Additionally, you will contribute to the design and delivery of learning and development programs, ensuring employees have the tools and resources to thrive in their roles. Your expertise in performance management will be key to supporting the annual review process and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

This role is a 12 month FTC.




How you'll make an impact



Support the design and delivery of L&D programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Coach and mentor managers to build their confidence in people management. Manage complex casework, including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies. Collaborate with the Wellbeing Advisor to support occupational health referrals, early intervention services, and group income protection, promoting a culture of care and engagement. Provide advice and support for the annual performance management process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and employee development goals. Build strong relationships with managers, providing expert HR advice and guidance to influence positive outcomes. Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery, covering for team members as needed and contributing to team projects. Produce reports and track casework using HR systems and tools, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.



About You



CIPD qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience. Experience providing advice on employee relations, performance management, and wellbeing initiatives. Knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices. Experience designing and delivering learning and development programs. Strong planning, organisational, and decision-making skills. Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence outcomes. Right to work in the UK
