We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Human Resources Advisor to join our team, reporting to the Group HR Director. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing various HR functions, ensuring that our human resources practices align with the overall business objectives. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while providing support to both employees and management with a deep understanding of employment law.
This role play a critical role in fostering a high-performance culture and contributing to business succeed through people management. This role will be responsible for a designated group of our brands.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Support:
Partner with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges.
Provide guidance on organisational structure, workforce planning, and change management.
2. Employee Relations:
Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.
Address employee concerns and help resolve workplace issues, maintaining a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
3. Talent Management:
Support recruitment and staffing processes, ensuring the right talent is identified and hired.
Assist in the development of training programs to build employee skills and capabilities.
Work on succession planning and leadership development.
4. Performance Management:
Guide managers in performance management, including goal setting, feedback, and evaluations.
Implement programs to recognise and reward employee performance.
Support employees in their professional development through coaching and mentoring.
5. Organisational Development:
Promote organisational change initiatives and support the adoption of new HR programs.
Drive initiatives that improve organisational culture, employee engagement, and retention.
6. Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure HR practices comply with all legal regulations. Maintain the Company Handbook and document register.
Assist in managing HR risks and legal issues related to employment law, terminations, and disputes.
7. HR Project Assistance:
Assist with HR projects and initiatives as directed by HRD
Collaborate with the HR team to implement new HR programs, systems and improvements.
Provide administrative support to ensure successful execution of HR projects
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Min.5 years experience as an Senior Advisor / HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role. Property / Financial Services background desirable. Experienced in managing multi-sites.
Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (min CIPD level 5)
Travel: You will be required to travel to fulfil the requirements of the role.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with all levels of the organisation.
Analytical: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
Interpersonal: Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence and advise leaders.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think long-term and contribute to the business strategy.
Adaptability: Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Leadership: Confidence in coaching and developing leaders and teams.
Package:
Basic Salary: 40,000 to 45,000 (subject to experience)
Car Allowance: 5,000 per annum
Holidays: 23 + 8 Bank Holidays plus Birthday Leave
DIS: 4 x basic salary
