Job Description

This is a hands-on, generalist HR role, providing strategic and operational support across all locations. You will work closely with the HR Manager to deliver high-quality HR services, covering employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and HR best practice within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Case Management



Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management. Support investigations, hearings, and appeals, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes. Coach and advise line managers on sensitive employee issues in line with employment law and company policies. Liaise with Occupational Health and external providers to support wellbeing and reasonable adjustments.

Recruitment & Onboarding



Lead recruitment campaigns and advise hiring managers on role requirements, selection, and interview processes. Oversee onboarding and induction processes for new joiners. Support employer branding initiatives and contribute to diversity and inclusion in recruitment.

Policy & Compliance



Review, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with best practice. Provide training and briefings to staff and managers on HR processes and policy changes. Ensure GDPR compliance in HR record-keeping and data handling.

Performance & Development



Support performance review cycles, including appraisals, feedback, and development planning. Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives. Contribute to succession planning and talent development strategies.

HR Systems & Reporting



Maintain and improve HR systems, ensuring accurate data and reporting. Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, absence, and engagement, providing insights to leadership. Support payroll and benefits administration alongside finance and external providers.

Strategic Projects & Culture



Lead or contribute to HR projects including engagement, wellbeing, and diversity initiatives. Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, TUPE, and consultations. Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with company values and goals.

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
