Senior Hr Advisor

Job Description

Work collaboratively with Headteachers and the HR team to support and guide them through all aspects of HR policy and procedure, including attendance management, safeguarding, managing capability and conduct, dispute resolution, recruitment and selection, reward and recognition, professional growth and training development, induction and on/off boarding. This includes monitoring that policy and procedures are being followed within individual schools and designing and maintaining appropriate data reporting processes for key HR metrics.

Key Accountabilities and Tasks

In close collaboration with Trust Leaders:

Support Trust Leaders in the development and implementation of the People Strategy, ensuring HR activity aligns with the Trust's Strategic Plan and overall objectives. Champion the values of the Trust at all times and be an ambassador and advocate of its vision.

Lead and coordinate people initiatives and HR practices that support the Trust's vision and values.

Develop, refine and oversee a trust-wide recruitment, retention, development and wellbeing strategy, fostering a culture of excellence and care.Co-ordinate trust-wide workforce planning processes and support the development and delivery of positive talent-management initiatives.

Support the HR requirements of potential school conversions and new provisions/services, including due diligence, consultation and onboarding activities as appropriate.

Provide expert professional guidance on HR practices that attract, retain and develop a high-performing workforce.

Establish and maintain outstanding professional relationships, and ensure effective communication across the schools in the Trust and other stakeholders.

Strategic Leadership of HR

Review and update strategic objectives termly and monitor and evaluate performance against agreed key performance indicators. Support the implementation of the Trust's People and EDI strategy, monitoring and evaluating performance against agreed key performance indicators and providing recommendations for improvement.

Engage in continuous professional development and keep abreast of appropriate legislation, and national and local developments affecting the education sector in relation to HR.

Ensure suitable processes, practices and procedures are in place, to underpin our People Strategy, and to enhance the performance of our staff, including equality and diversity, talent management, health and wellbeing, succession planning and the promotion of staff incentive schemes.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 47,142.00-51,175.00 per year

Expected hours: 21 per week
