We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team at Nannie Annies Day Care

As the HR Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting and advancing the human resources function within our esteemed nurseries. Your responsibilities will encompass implementing strategic HR initiatives, managing operational systems, fostering employee relations, and promoting staff development, all while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.

About the role:



Monday to Friday 25 - 30 hours per week over 5 days potential to move to Full time No weekends Office based in Woodford Green soon moving to Buckhurst Hill

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and communicate HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the nursery. Provide expert advisory support, manage employment relations matters, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Implement performance management strategies and support staff appraisal systems for continuous improvement. Coordinate training initiatives, ensuring teams have the necessary skills and capabilities to excel in their roles. Maintain HR systems, develop policies, and ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices. Advise on payroll matters, maintain recruitment records, and stay abreast of legislative changes. Promote staff wellbeing initiatives, liaise with occupational health providers, and foster effective communication across the organization. Uphold policies and procedures related to child protection, health, safety, and equality, ensuring the welfare of children and staff.

Qualifications and Skills:



Proven experience in HR management, preferably within a childcare or education setting. Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to manage complex HR issues with professionalism and discretion. Degree in HR management, business administration, or related field (preferred).
