Role Purpose:

Owner of the short-, medium- and long-term strategic plans for Hub stores and ensuring the day to day operations in these stores are efficient and achieving business targets.

Management of the Hub team including those field based, ensuring that the team are set up to deliver the best on-time fulfilment for our online customers.

A typical day in this role includes:

Overseeing and optimising the operation of our Hub stores.

Strategic development of our online fulfilment model.

Overall responsibility to forecast, plan resource, capability and cost control across a group of Hub stores.

Working with 3rd party suppliers to continuously improve the delivery promise and final mile delivery. (consumables and couriers)

Strong knowledge of store operations, logistics, supply chain management and team leadership.

Excellent organisational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.

Overseeing the daily operation of the Hub stores, ensuring efficient and effective processes.

Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Hub operation managers.

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Monitoring KPIs and ensure all targets are met or exceeded.

Ensuring all Hub operations comply with company policies, safety standards, and ROS requirements.

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Preparing and presenting regular reports on hub performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and make sound decisions quickly.

Ensure effective planning for peak periods.

What you'll need:

You need to be comfortable with computers and the Office 365 suite

A strong understanding of store operations and logistics

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Hours

: 37.5 | 9.00am - 5.30pm - Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our stylish, modern and collaborative office close to East Croydon Station.
