As part of our growing business, we are seeking an established Human Factors Consultant with experience of leading and delivering Human Factors integration and associated analyses for high-hazard and safety critical national infrastructure, e.g. civil or naval nuclear, defence or rail.

Duties to include
Lead and oversee Human Factors work completed by peers, junior members of staff and contractors.
Lead and deliver Human Factors Integration activities to support multi-disciplinary projects, working in collaboration with other technical disciplines.
Production of Human Factors analyses and studies, liaising with Subject Matter Experts and safety professionals.
Liaising with Regulators as necessary.
Scoping, planning and managing work to meet technical, budget and programme requirements to ensure client satisfaction.
Collaboration with clients and partner organisations.
Essential Requirements
Relevant academic qualification in an appropriate field, i.e. Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology or a suitable Science or Engineering degree.
Relevant experience in a Human Factors role.
Experience in applying Human Factors principles, standards and methods, and their role and application within high-hazard and safety critical national infrastructure programmes.
Experience in delivering human error and reliability assessment.
Ability and willingness to lead and develop others.
Desirable Requirements
Chartered, Registered or working towards accreditation with a relevant body.
Consultancy experience.
SC and / or DV security clearance.
