Salary: Ark Outside London Support Scale 8, Pay Points 20-28: \xc2\xa328,370 to \xc2\xa334,723 (pro rata)

Hours: Full Time - 36 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)

Contract: Permanent

This is a rare opportunity to join our hard-working, dedicated Safeguarding Team in our growing academy. As a Senior Inclusion Support Worker - SEMH (Safeguarding), the successful candidate will have a key role recording, tracking and intervening where incidents are repeated. Once established in the role, the successful candidate will also assess, develop and deliver programmes and interventions for targeted students to increase their motivation and improve their self-regulation and address the social, emotional & mental health needs of students to remove barriers to their progress and development.

We need someone who is proactive, has excellent communication skills, is experienced in establishing successful learning relationships with young people and adults and has a genuine passion for and belief in the potential of every student. The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in a busy environment is essential.

Ark Alexandra is a two-campus secondary academy with a Sixth Form provision in Hastings, East Sussex and is the largest secondary with 6th form in the Ark network.
