We are recruiting a Senior Information Manager to support the successful delivery of the Great Grid Partnership, a 10-year framework with Scottish Power. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will lead the information management function across this major infrastructure programme, ensuring digital deliverables meet technical, commercial and programme requirements.
As Senior Information Manager, you will oversee the implementation and operation of information management systems and processes across multiple sites and work packages. This includes leading the development and delivery of information standards, procedures and documentation (such as the BIM Execution Plan), ensuring the integrity, security, and accessibility of all data and digital assets from design through to handover.
You'll be a key interface between the delivery teams and Taylor Woodrow's central Digital Team, ensuring consistent application of standards and sharing of best practices across the framework.
Duties
Lead the implementation and maintenance of information management procedures, ensuring alignment with ISO 19650 and other relevant standards across all workstreams within the framework
Take ownership of digital delivery documentation including the BIM Execution Plan, information requirements, workflows and data exchange protocols
Ensure consistent operation of information management systems, including the configuration and ongoing use of platforms such as Aconex (or other CDEs)
Oversee and conduct compliance reviews to ensure all digital deliverables meet contract requirements and industry standards
Act as the point of contact for project stakeholders on all IM-related matters, including designers, delivery teams and client representatives
Support training and development of project teams in digital tools, workflows and IM best practice
Engage in continuous improvement and innovation in digital delivery, bringing forward ideas to enhance efficiency and data quality
Ensure the secure and accurate transfer of information for handover and contribute to the definition of Asset Information Requirements (AIR)
Support and guide junior members of the Information Management team, promoting a collaborative and high-performing digital culture across the programme
Lead or support digital coordination meetings, issue concise meeting minutes, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
Person Specification
Significant experience in a similar Information Management or BIM lead role within major infrastructure or transmission programmes
In-depth knowledge of ISO 19650 and associated BIM and digital standards
Proven experience with Common Data Environments (CDE), particularly Aconex or equivalent platforms
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organisational and analytical capabilities, with attention to detail and a focus on data quality and compliance
Up-to-date understanding of data security, GDPR, and digital risk management
Ability to manage multiple interfaces, workstreams and deadlines in a complex programme environment
Experience in mentoring and supporting junior team members
