Applying proven techniques and procedures to understand support requirements and develop solutions
Actively managing and reporting on the obsolescence state of in-service equipment, through proactive engagement with relevant stakeholders
Assisting with software licencing allocation and purchasing ensuring compliance for delivered systems
Maintaining ILS records ensuring that data is kept in-line with equipment BoMs, platform baselines and as-built records ensuring the required level of configuration governance is followed
Producing (ILS) Integrated Logistics Support deliverable documentation and management reports as directed
Supporting platform installation and decommissioning activities
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required to support the in-service activities
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Understand the full suite and range of ILS responsibilities and activities as detailed in the relevant Standards (e.g. Def Stan 00-600)
Previous experience working within a technical background
Knowledge of SI and CMS hardware in an in-service environment
Experienced in data analysis and manipulation
Have a structured, methodical and disciplined approach with attention to detail and accuracy
Able to prioritise own workload to meet project demands
Desirable:
Knowledge of engineering drawings & data
Knowledge of product/equipment support in the MoD/Royal Navy

The RECODE team:
As part of the RECODE (Real Time Combat Systems Open Data Enablers) Team, this role provides the opportunity to support the Royal Navy. The team are responsible for maintaining high levels of equipment availability across multiple deployed platform classes, including the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers and Type 45 Destroyers
