Duties will include customer facing general administration for Commercial Clients.
Lines of business will include Business, Construction, Professions, Property Owners, Motor and other SME and mid-corporate insurances.
The job will work alongside an Account Executive for renewals and new business, from obtaining quotations, processing mid-term adjustments, issuing policy documents, and basic accounting procedures.
Flexible working arrangements may be available once initial training is completed and role can be undertaken without permanent supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
Renewal case management.
Assisting with incoming queries from customers, insurers and other third parties.
Administration of renewal documentation, renewal quotations, mid-term adjustments, new business enquiries, claims and accounting procedures.
Oral and written communications to clients, insurers and other third parties.
To ensure minimum annual CPD training is completed.
Common Responsibilities
Greet all incoming calls in a professional courteous business manner.
Comply with all company procedures.
Comply with all FCA relevant regulations.
Document and maintain all conversations and communications with clients and insurers on system back-office administration.
Flexibility, understanding and assisting fellow employees when the workloads of others is greater than your own or when your specific knowledge is required.
Generation of Insurance Proposals and Renewal Proposal documentation including Demands & Needs Statements within regulatory timescales.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Prior knowledge and experience in the commercial insurance broking industry is required.
Experience working on the Acturis platform is preferable but not essential (training will be provided).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Understanding and application of AI platforms are preferred.
Effective and accurate communicator both oral and written.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand customers' needs effectively.
