. In this key role, you will design, implement, and maintain the data interfaces that enable seamless
Trade Promotions Management (TPM)
functionality across various internal and external systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring reliable and efficient integration between our TPM platform (UpClear BluePlanner), ERP systems, sales data sources, financial systems, and retailer portals.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a deep technical background in integration engineering, particularly within the FMCG or manufacturing sectors, to take ownership of the integration architecture and middleware strategy in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Implement Integrations: Develop secure, scalable integrations between TPM platforms (e.g., UpClear BluePlanner), ERP (e.g., M3), finance, and analytics systems.
Integration Architecture & Middleware Strategy: Own the design and implementation of integration architecture, including data mapping, transformation, and orchestration.
Collaboration with TPM Vendors & Teams: Work with external TPM vendors and internal teams to ensure timely, reliable data exchange aligned with commercial calendars.
Monitoring & Alerting: Establish and manage integration monitoring and alerting systems to ensure integration performance and data integrity.
Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation for integrations and APIs.
Contribute to Integration Roadmap: Be a key contributor to the integration roadmap across the Digital & Technology function.
Mentoring & Team Support: Mentor junior engineers and support the development of digital capabilities within the team.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential Experience & Skills:
7+ years of experience in data engineering and 2+ years in integration engineering, ideally within FMCG, retail, or manufacturing environments.
Proven experience integrating Trade Promotion Management (TPM) systems (e.g., o9, SAP TPM, BluePlanner, Blacksmith) with ERP and commercial platforms.
Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and data formats (JSON, XML).
Hands-on experience with integration/middleware tools such as Azure Logic Apps, Boomi, Mulesoft, or similar.
Strong understanding of commercial and financial processes, including trade accruals, deductions, and sales forecasting.
Experience working with cloud environments (preferably Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with modern data platforms and event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools to visualize TPM data.
Background in food manufacturing, FMCG, or CPG industries.
Exposure to DevOps or Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
