Senior Interior Designer - Residential, Commercial & International Projects
Overview
We are seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to join a leading architectural studio working across a broad spectrum of innovative and context-driven projects. This role is ideally suited to a creative and technically proficient designer with strong conceptual thinking, excellent coordination skills, and a passion for high-quality design.
Operating within a collaborative team, you will take a lead role in developing unique interior design solutions for high-end residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects across the UK and internationally. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the interior design development across all project stages, from concept to completion
  • Develop and communicate design narratives through drawings, presentations, material palettes, and 3D visualisation
  • Work closely with architects and external consultants to ensure a holistic integration of interior and architectural elements
  • Oversee the production of interior documentation including layouts, details, FF&E schedules, and specifications
  • Conduct material research and source finishes, furniture, fixtures, and fittings in line with project vision and budget
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during project execution, ensuring quality control and design intent is upheld
  • Manage internal reviews and contribute to the evolution of the studio's interior design approach
  • Provide mentorship and direction to junior team members
  • Ensure documentation and drawings meet internal standards and are compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Engage in collaborative design workshops and contribute to the studio's ongoing design discourse
Key Requirements
  • Degree-qualified Interior Designer or Interior Architect
  • Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in interior design, with leadership experience on high-end projects
  • Demonstrable experience in residential, commercial, or international projects
  • A portfolio showcasing strong design sensibility and versatility across interior typologies
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit - essential
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction and interior detailing
  • Familiarity with bespoke joinery, FF&E sourcing, and luxury fit-out
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work proactively, manage deadlines, and maintain design quality under pressure
  • Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams and contributing to the design conversation at all stages
