Job purpose:



You'll work closely with our experienced design team of

todeliver your own projects, as well as providing design support for the execution and completion of projects across the entire Bruntwood Group portfolio. You will also be responsible for the management of a team of

Interior Designers.


What we're looking for:


It's important that you are proficient in

Sketchup,

Adobe Suite &

AutoCad*
Experience of effectively working with

internal stakeholders to drive projects as well as working with

external suppliers/contractors*
Within the above being self motivated to proactively

build relationships with stakeholdersand take ownership of design projects

Clear communication and project management*, with the ability to manage multiple projects

Team management experience- effectively able to support development offer guidance

What you'll be doing:


Report to the Head of Design and working closely with commercial team to deliver the highest quality product and service for both Bruntwood and our customers. Contribute to the conceptualisation, development and execution of workplace design projects at all stages of the design process on time and within budget. With strong presentation skills you will be adept at space planning, 3D visuals, FF&E selection and be able to contribute to the preparation of tender documents. Set and review team KPIs to always improve the value and commerciality of our in-house interior design team. Manage a team of Interior Designers and lead by example to develop and inspire them, including holding regular 1:1's and setting personal development plans. Assist in the production of business reports and associated papers, as needed, in line with the wider requirements of Bruntwood. Visit Bruntwood buildings across Greater Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham and Cambridge to undertake site surveys, brief taking, customer meetings and viewings as required as part of the wider design process. Allocate and oversee design tasks delivered by you and your team within agreed deadlines and budget, ensuring the highest standards throughout all of the design stages and compliance with current industry building regulations. Be confident to collaborate with in-house teams as well as external consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities as needed to achieve project objectives. Develop and evolve existing product lines and processes which impact Bruntwood Customers, including CAT A/A+ specifications, CAT B fit out, marketing plans, Service Space and our Made and Managed offer.
