Quick summary: A leading interior design studio within the hospitality and leisure sector is looking for an experienced Senior Design with proven project manager experience. The successful candidate will be highly organised, enthusiastic, a clear and confident communicator with experience of managing large scale projects to successful completion. Job description:

• Presenting to clients.
• Managing a project efficiently, to program and budget.
• Managing and briefing design team on live projects, including control and sign-off of their project time logs and attendance.
• Mentoring and assisting junior and middleweight designers.
• Building and growing existing client relationships.
• Presenting and explanation of concepts to others.
• Developing detailed designs and input of selecting materials.
• Working closely with the Directors, Associates and senior members of staff.
• Going on site and working closely with sub-contractors and clients.
• Accountable for project deliverables and the approval of project output

Skills necessary:

• Ability to create and develop conceptual designs.
• Self-confident and receptive to constructive feedback.
• Ability to manage time, generate/manage schedules and workflow of projects efficiently.
• Quality experience dealing with contractors and sub-teams on site.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and visual.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and generate plans creatively.
• Proven track record of over 8 years in Project Management and design.
• Familiar with project reporting and documentation requirements.
• Good communication skills & ability to present at a high level.
• Skills in VectorWorks or AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp and MS Office.
• BIM and Revit experience / knowledge advantageous.
• Knowledge of FF&E selection (materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling)
