Senior Internal Auditor, EME

Stoneleigh, Warwickshire (Hybrid Working)

Job Summary

We are seeking for an enthusiastic team player who also enjoys working independently and thrives when diving into details. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a vital role in leading and executing audit activities in the EME region. Your engagements will include a variety of audits like operational, financial, IT and investigative reviews along with any requested audits surrounding compliance (e.g., SOX, FCPA). The role is part of the AGCO multinational audit team spanning across North and South America as well as Asia Pacific. Your stakeholder management skills will be key when working in partnership with a variety of stakeholders like AGCO\'s Senior Management Team, our co-sourcing partner Ernst & Young as well as external audit partner KPMG.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform and lead audits incl. the planning, detailed testing and analysis of operational activities and business processes to identify potential control gaps, operational ineffectiveness of controls, and areas for improvement.
  • Document and review audit procedures, findings, and recommendations accurately and concisely, ensure adherence with to internal audit industry (i.e., Institute of Internal Auditors) methodologies and departmental standards.
  • Write up and finalise audit reports to a high standard and communicate audit findings in a clear and timely manner, providing actionable insights for management.
  • Lead the development of corrective actions and helps to assess the adequacy of solutions offered by management.
  • Follow up on the remediation of previously identified audit findings.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Proven work experience as an external or internal Auditor, either in a public accounting firm or internal audit department.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective communication of audit findings, reports and recommendations.
  • Very strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex processes, identify risks, and propose practical solutions.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work in an international team.
