Hours: 35 hours per week / 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)
It's an exciting time to join our in-house audit team. You'll have the opportunity to make a difference and shape future approaches to delivering assurance while the organisation goes through technological change. Working with a devolved operating model focussed on doing the right thing for our residents.
We are looking for an experienced auditor that will add value to the organisation in their delivery of wide range of audits, covering our corporate and support services areas of the business.
Building relationships is a must, you'll need to connect with stakeholders and support management in highlighting risk and developing their second line of defence approaches.
Although the role is home-based, travel across the geographical area is required as needed. There is also an expectation to attend Head Office in Birmingham to support team development activities.

What we're looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
Fully qualified AAT/CIA or recently qualified MIIA / CCAB or equivalent.
Recent, relevant knowledge and experience in internal audit
Experience of preparing and delivering professional reports and presentations
Excellent communication skills
Experience in the use of data analytics and other analytical tools to analyse information and present findings.
Experience for managing multiple projects
Experience of supporting and assisting in the development of junior Auditors would be an advantage
Experience of working in the sector would also be an advantage but not essential.
You must live within a commutable distance to our Head Office in Birmingham.
