What's it all about?





As our Senior Internal Auditor you will take a leading role in our audit activities from planning to completion. You'll be responsible for the delivery of our assurance plan, working closely with management to improve control effectiveness and providing high-quality reports to the leadership team. A key part of the role involves developing strong relationships across the business, driving continuous process improvement, and advising on fraud prevention. You'll also support the team by leveraging audit management software and keeping the Head of Internal Audit fully informed on key issues.



You will be responsible for planning and conducting risk-based audits to review the effectiveness of internal controls and ensure compliance with our policies and procedures. This includes designing and executing audit procedures, identifying control gaps, and providing actionable recommendations. You'll work closely with the Risk Manager and other business functions to align control testing with the latest risks, and prepare for changes in legislation. This position also involves supporting the year-end financial audit and ensuring that audit observations and agreed actions are accurately tracked and monitored.

Your leadership and influencing skills will be crucial for building strong working relationships and guiding others.



Excellent communication skills are also essential. You must be able to translate complex information into clear, simple terms for colleagues who aren't technical experts. This role requires an individual who is both an analytical expert and a collaborative partner, dedicated to fostering trust and driving positive change across the business.
