The Opportunity
The Senior Internal Communications & Employer Brand Specialist plays a critical role in shaping how employees experience and connect with the organization's mission, values, and culture. This role bridges internal communications and employer branding--driving engagement, transparency, and pride among employees while positioning the organization as an employer of choice in the external market. You'll be a key architect of internal communications, working cross-functionally to build and execute communication strategies that foster alignment, transparency, and engagement across the organization. You will shape the way our teams connect, share, and grow together -- from job adverts and the first onboarding email to company-wide town halls.
As part of the global people experience team, this individual will collaborate across regions and functions to develop integrated strategies that strengthen our culture, enhance employee engagement, candidate experience, and amplify our reputation as a world-class workplace.
This is a highly visible, high-impact role for a proactive communicator who understands the nuances of fast-paced, high-growth, tech business environments.
The Specifics
Internal Communications
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies that align employees with company priorities, vision, values, product launches, org changes and milestones.
  • Create compelling content for global announcements, leadership messages, newsletters, intranet updates, videos, and events.
  • Champion our internal brand voice and ensure consistency in tone and messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Partner with People Experience, executive leaders, and other business leaders to ensure consistent and transparent messaging across all employee touchpoints.
  • Support leadership visibility and authenticity through communication coaching, storytelling, and speechwriting.
  • Create, manage, and evolve internal comms channels (e.g., Slack, email newsletters, intranet, all-hands meetings).
  • Measure communication effectiveness and continuously improve engagement channels, including intranet, email, and digital platforms.
  • Partner with People, Marketing, and Ops teams to enhance the employee experience through timely, transparent communication.
Employer Brand
  • Own the global employer brand messages (global/regional/talent segment layers), ensuring it's lived internally and recognised externally, and align communications to the company's purpose, strategy, and people experience narrative
  • Define and evolve the global employer value proposition (EVP) with regional relevance to reflect the company's purpose, culture, and people experience.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, PX, and Marketing to deliver cohesive internal and external brand storytelling, ensuring integration across all candidate & employee touchpoints (attraction ? onboarding ? development ? alumni).
  • Oversee content creation for career sites, social media, recruitment campaigns, and employee advocacy initiatives.
  • Manage partnerships with creative agencies, vendors, and platforms to deliver consistent employer brand experiences globally.
  • Track and analyze brand perception, employee engagement, and recruitment metrics to drive data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for (you don't need to be a guru at all, we're looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you):
  • 5-8+ years of experience in internal communications, employer branding, or corporate communications, ideally in a high-growth tech environment.
  • Proven experience building internal communications from the ground up, including developing frameworks, processes, and toolkits.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills -- clear, concise, engaging, and adaptable across audiences.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and managing global stakeholders across multiple time zones
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a strong bias for action.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with tools like Slack, Confluence, Notion, Google Workspace, and employee engagement platforms is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting communications for distributed or remote-first teams.
  • Background in journalism, PR, or executive communications.
  • Familiarity with change management communications frameworks.
