Professionally Qualified:



Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (or equivalent) Masters in Landscape Architecture 5-10 years' experience delivering complex projects, ideally in private/public practice

Technically Proficient in:



AutoCAD, Keyscape, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, Microsoft Office NBS Landscape & Create Bonus: Revit experience Strong knowledge of UK planning policy, Building Regulations, construction detailing, and technical coordination
What you'll lead, own & deliver:

Project Delivery & Oversight



Lead medium-to-large scale landscape projects from concept to completion Define, manage, and delegate the scope of services across the team Ensure compliance with QA standards, brief requirements, and budget Attend and contribute to design team meetings and key client presentations Monitor WIP, targets, invoicing, and forecast fees accurately Oversee contracts, specs, and drawing packages with precision Prepare planning applications and supervise external contributors Audit works on-site and provide expert technical guidance during installations

Leadership & Mentoring



Lead and support a small design team (3-4 members) Coach junior team members, set performance standards, and build capability Take ownership of resource forecasting and workload planning Participate in recruitment interviews and team development initiatives

Technical & Design Excellence



Sign off technical content and ensure coordination across consultants Review hard and soft landscaping specifications, including soil science, drainage, materials, and planting Guide selection and use of appropriate construction forms and contract administration Maintain compliance with Building Regulations and CDM requirements Provide time and cost estimates for all stages of design and delivery

Commercial & Client Interface



Prepare fee proposals and assist in bid development and delivery Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders Confidently represent the business at meetings and in correspondence Ensure project profitability through careful monitoring and proactive communication

Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
