About the role

This is a senior role within the Commercial division of the business working alongside the Commercial Director whilst liaising with the Contracts. Design, Finance and Plant Procurement teams. Ensuring the delivery of accurate estimations in an effective and timely manner. Day to day you\'ll be analysing pre-tender site visits as well as undertaking site visits to review, change and check measuring, confirming quantities for certain material orders prior to procurement will also form part of the day to day activities.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least five years estimating experience in a high-end landscaping firm as well as being an expert in pricing on First Principles basis and compiling comprehensive Scope of Work documents. Strong knowledge of database estimating software, specifically Valesco would be preferable alongside experience of using Bluebeam Construction software. They will need to be highly numerate, IT savvy, organised and motivated, with a proven ability to drive out accurate costings and timely responses on tenders. It is a fast-paced role which needs both focus and board thinking. Our client is looking for a collaborative team player, who is a confident communicator with stakeholders such as clients, landscape architects, garden designers, main contractor representatives and public realm officials.
