We are looking for a motivated and experienced lead practitioner to join our team.

Successful candidates must have HNC or SVQ level 3 qualification in Early Education and Childcare and should have experience of effectively leading and supporting a team, modelling best practice and have a sound knowledge of current guidance and regulations.

You should have a passion for the early years, strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with children, parents and staff.

Experience in delivering Curriculum for Excellence and Pre-Birth to Three is required and a working knowledge of Realising the Ambition and GIRFEC.

Successful candidates will be required to become a member of SSSC and PVG Scheme.

Responsibilities of the job include:

Leading and supporting a small team to ensure the wellbeing of young children. Maintaining and enhancing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment enabling young children to develop and achieve at their own pace. Planning, observing, assessing and tracking children's learning, ensuring that their needs and those of their families are met. Contributing to quality assurance and self evaluation. Adhering to policies and regulatory guidance.
