Role Summary:



Our centralised leasing team is essential in connecting potential residents with their ideal homes. We are seeking an experienced Senior Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team, bringing leadership and expertise to enhance our leasing efforts. The Senior Leasing Agent will play a pivotal role in driving leasing activities across multiple properties while serving as a resource for the wider leasing team. This position involves training new staff, assisting in the renewal process, and facilitating the leasing process from initial contact to move-in appointments. The Senior Leasing Agent will be instrumental in achieving specified targets and ensuring a seamless leasing experience for prospective and current residents.

Key Responsibilities:



Outbound Sales:

Conduct sales activities through calls, texts, emails, and in-person interactions to generate leads and convert prospects into residents.

Lead Management:

Utilise our CRM system to manage and track leads effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and maintaining accurate records.

Viewings:

Conduct in-person and facilitate virtual property viewings, showcasing the features and benefits of our communities.

Lease Progression:

Oversee the entire leasing process from application submission to move-in appointment, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents. This process includes ensuring all statutory documentation has been sent to residents, overseeing the referencing process and that tenancy paperwork including tenancy agreements are accurate and created within a timely manner.

Training and Mentoring:

Train and onboard new leasing staff, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure their success.

Knowledge Resource:

Serve as a source of knowledge for the leasing team, sharing best practices, tips, and strategies to enhance overall performance.

Renewal Process:

Assist with the renewal process by following up with current residents, addressing concerns, and working to achieve high renewal conversion rates.

Feedback and Reporting:

Participate in regular leasing calls to provide feedback on the leasing process and share insights on results achieved. Suggest process improvements where necessary to the management team.

Software / Process Champion:

Take a lead role in supporting the team when new policies and procedures are rolled out.

Targets and KPIs:

Work diligently to meet specified targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the management team.

Desired Experience and Skills:



Proven experience in leasing or sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents and team members. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience in a customer service environment, with a passion for delivering exceptional resident experiences. Leadership abilities, with a desire to train and support new staff. Flexibility to travel to other properties as needed, with travel costs covered by the company.

Qualifications:



ARLA qualified or working towards ARLA certification and/or IRPM qualification is preferred.

Remuneration / Bonuses / Benefits



Base salary:

27,500 to 33,000, depending on location and experience

Bonus:

Discretionary Bonus Scheme

Benefits:

Working Hours:



5-day working week (40 hours) including weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) with 2 days off

working on a rota basis; shifts could be: 8am to 5pm; 9am to 6pm; 10am to 7pm. Reduced hours for weekend work.

Location:



This position is required to work on site with travel to other buildings as needed.
