Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available within our Advancing Practice Team. In this role, you will support modules within the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice and the delivery of the postgraduate health and/or leadership programmes.

You will be an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner or similar who is considering further development/ experience in a higher education setting. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who have an Independent Prescribing Qualification.

With in this role, you will be supported and encouraged to develop skills to deliver high quality learning experiences and will support student assessment.

You will:
1. Be a registered healthcare professional.
2. Hold a recognised teaching qualification, be engaged in a master's level education programme with a view to gaining a teaching qualification, or be committed to undertaking a PG Certificate in Higher Education at Sheffield Hallam.
3. Hold or currently be working towards a master's degree.
4. Be working/ have worked in an advanced clinical practice role.
5. Have teaching experience in practice & HEI.

You will be involved in teaching activities, assessment and academic support of students undertaking health programmes at Sheffield Hallam.

Once in post, you will have a named mentor from the teaching team who will offer guidance and support for the role.
