Senior Lecturer In Architectural Practice

Job Description

We seek to appoint a Senior Lecturer to join our Architecture Portfolio, in the School of Design and Creative Industries, to lead/teach and develop the Postgraduate Diploma In Architectural Practice (Part 3) programme. The role will also require the candidate to teach/develop and support the BA and Masters professional programmes.



The candidate should also:


Contribute to the delivery of teaching Architecture programmes, including research-informed curriculum development, and recruitment activities. Be aware of the changes to architectural education due to the changes proposed by ARB + RIBA and help deliver the changes. Must be able to collaborate with other module teaching (design/technology/history/theory) within the programme to create a holist architectural programme. Contribute more widely to the design and delivery of teaching activities across the school, reflecting the successfully candidate's own subject specialism, appropriate for the needs of a diverse student body; across the range of courses offered by the department.
