Our School of Health and Social Care delivers a well-established, large and diverse portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate and degree apprenticeship courses leading to registration in 14 different professions.

You will be involved in leading the delivery of our MSc Dietetics course and contributing to our BSc Hons Dietetics - Degree Apprenticeship courses and inter-professional portfolio. We are looking for an individual who can inspire, enthuse and connect with our students from a range of backgrounds and make a valuable contribution to their learning experience, whilst preparing them for contemporary dietetic practice.

Alongside this is the opportunity to develop your career, further your academic profile and enhance your teaching through studying for the Postgraduate Certificate - Teaching in Higher Education, as appropriate.

You must be an HCPC-registered dietitian and have well-developed current knowledge and an understanding of critical, practical, and theoretical issues relevant to contemporary dietetic practice.

You will ideally be at the forefront of new ways of working in the NHS, in either primary or secondary settings, demonstrating care innovation and emergent management pathways and/or have experience of formal teaching and pre-registration dietetic education.

The role requires you to contribute to our pre-registration masters and apprenticeship course through teaching, assessment and research activity whilst support academic citizenship and retaining strong links with practice partners. It would be envisaged that you would be part of our team, leading dietetic pre-registration education, whilst retaining strong links with practice partners.
