Senior Lecturer in Finance including the role of Academic Course Leader*

Oxstalls Campus, Gloucester

1.0FTE, 37 hours per week

Due to growth within the Business School, we are looking for exceptional candidates to join as Senior Lecturers in Accounting and Finance who can support our Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Professional suite of Accounting and Finance courses.

The Business School is based at our impressive state-of the-art facilities in Gloucester. It includes collaborative lecture rooms, social learning spaces and breakout areas. Business partnerships are at the heart of what we do, and this is enhanced by our co-location with the regional LEP, Growth Hub and University in Business in our new facilities.

To become part of our team you will be someone who can contribute to exceptional teaching and or industry-related experience along with working successfully with a range of staff and students across our course portfolio. We are looking for contributions to the teaching and assessment of areas including:

  • Personal Finance, Wealth Management, Tax, and Advanced taxation
  • Management accounting for performance management, decision-making, and strategy in different settings
  • Financial Technology, Data Science or related discipline areas.
Experience with Higher Apprenticeships would be an advantage and also those who have experienced online learning. We would also be very interested in applications from candidates that have experience in the delivery of training provision for professional bodies and the ability to support a range of modules with professional exemptions is an essential component of the role.

*the role of an Academic Course Leader is a fixed term element of the post for 3 years.
