Keele University is looking for a Senior Lecturer in Game Design to lead our new undergraduate programme in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. This is a chance to shape a new course as Keele grows its creative arts and industries degrees.
We welcome applicants with experience designing and teaching Game Design at undergraduate level. You will work with colleagues to plan and deliver modules, support students, and build links with industry, schools, and colleges.
You will lead teaching, assessment, and course management, making sure students have a positive and inclusive learning experience. You will help students develop their creative and technical skills, combining storytelling, technology, and professional practice.
You should have good knowledge and digital skills in Game Design, and experience in areas such as 3D modelling, game art, or narrative and worldbuilding. You will be confident using current software and game engines.
The role is part of Keele's Research and Education academic career path. Alongside teaching, you will have the opportunity to grow your research and contribute to publications and public engagement.
You should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline or a Master's plus equivalent professional experience both in a relevant subject.
