Applications are invited for the post of Senior Lecturer in the Department of Health Studies. The post is for the design and delivery of a new PGCert in Health Leadership and Education for international junior doctors in an exciting partnership with Ashford and St Peters NHS Foundation Trust. The Department of Health Studies is part of the School of Life Sciences and the Environment alongside the Departments of Biological Sciences, Psychology, Earth Sciences, and Geography. We are forward thinking, multidisciplinary and research active. We are a new department developing a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Global Health and the environment. We are ambitious and value partnership working to create solutions for the challenges in the world today.

We seek outstanding individuals to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. This post will be offered on either the teaching focussed or professional practice route initially.

The Senior lecturer will take a leading role in the development and management of our new PGCert in Health Leadership and Education in partnership with Ashford and St Peters NHS Foundation Trust which will begin in 2024/25. This position is open to practitioners or educators in the health sector. We are particularly interested in candidates with knowledge and experience in health leadership, health education and quality improvement.

The post is available from August 2023 and the successful applicant will be based in our Campus in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park.
