We are seeking to appoint an experienced academic to contribute to the teaching and learning in History of Art and Museum Studies. You will have a strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding student experience, deliver a range of high-quality teaching materials and provide excellent pastoral and academic support to students. You must have advanced knowledge of all areas of History of Art, Design and Curatorial Theory and Practice, as well as knowledge of emerging areas in contemporary art. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.

You will:

  • have a strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding student experience;
  • deliver a range of high-quality teaching materials and associated student assessment activities;
  • provide excellent pastoral and academic support to students;
  • contribute to the planning, design and development of modules and programmes and curriculum changes;
  • engage in the Faculty\xe2\x80\x99s research themes;
  • contribute to the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students;
  • conduct nationally/internationally recognised research and scholarship which is eligible for inclusion in the HEFCE Research Excellence Framework exercise or similar external research quality validation exercises.
