Join the founding academic team at St Mary's School of Medicine and play a key role in shaping the curriculum and identity of our new MBBS programme. We are recruiting a Senior Lecturer to lead teaching in physiology, immunology, or microbiology within our Integrated and Applied Science and Clinical Medicine (IASCM) module. You will design and deliver lectures, practicals, and integrated small group sessions, and contribute to assessment and curriculum development across the MBBS programme.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the launch of a new MBBS programme, shape its scientific foundations, and work within a collaborative and forward-thinking academic team. You will also be eligible to take on a strategic leadership role in SSCs, Digital Health & AI, or Academic Tutoring, supporting innovation and student development.

A successful candidate will have:

Fellowship of Advance HE (HEA) or equivalent or willingness to work towards. Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards PGCHE. Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject. Proven experience in designing and delivering physiology teaching in higher education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students. Commitment to professional development, including willingness to undertake training in teaching and assessment. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to curriculum development.
