About the Role





We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our Commercial Legal team.


The Senior Legal Advisor will play a pivotal role in providing strategic legal advice and support across various aspects of our operations. This is a great opportunity to join a growing legal team and work on novel issues in an exciting, fast-

paced media environment


Main Responsibilities




Provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of media-related matters including AdTech, content licensing, intellectual property, privacy and regulatory compliance. Review and negotiate agreements with advertising and technology partners, content creators, production companies, talent, and other third parties. Advising on consumer law, promotional/marketing campaigns, and programmatic advertising

matters.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and executives to provide proactive legal guidance and risk management advice. Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in media and advertising law. Mentoring and managing junior members of the team. Manage external counsel and advising on media, IP and business specific disputes.

Person Specification




England and Wales qualified (or equivalent) with ideally a minimum of 6 years' PQE Experience in technology, media and advertising law, preferably with experience in a media company or law firm specialising in media and technology related matters. Strong understanding of AdTech, contract law, consumer affairs, content licensing and privacy regulations. Innovative and pragmatic approach to sector specific matters. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and within a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience managing and mentoring junior legal staff.

Preferred Qualifications and Background:




Experience working with international media companies or in cross-border media transactions. Familiarity with emerging technologies, content development, programmatic advertising and

consumer law.
