Job Description

As Senior Legal Counsel you will join the in house legal team advising on growth equity transactions. You will help structure and manage deals, mitigate risk, and liaise with external panel firms.
The Senior Legal Counsel will be:

Structuring, negotiating, and documenting growth equity and fund investments
Advising on legal risk and governance for investment transactions
Leading due diligence, managing external counsel, and coordinating with internal stakeholders
Providing commercial legal advice across corporate, public law, compliance, and contracts
Supporting and evolving legal policies and frameworks
Presenting to senior committees and boards on legal matters

The Senior Legal Counsel should be:

A qualified corporate solicitor (or equivalent) with a background in private practice or In-house
Experienced in growth equity transactions
Comfortable leading complex legal work streams and managing external legal panels
Adept at stakeholder engagement, influencing senior decision makers, and board reporting
Ties to Leeds and able to work 3 days in the office
