Role mission:




As CUBE's Senior Legal Counsel, you will lead on all customer SaaS negotiations, negotiating complex, international, Financial Services SaaS agreements. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make an impact within a hypergrowth SaaS business that is expanding it's footprint on a daily basis. Alongside the day to day BAU, you will be the individual responsible for developing the playbook in relation to these negotiations.


You will play an integral role in not only shaping how CUBE streamline efficiencies and automate processes within our SaaS negotiations but also educating the workforce in parallel.


Responsibilities:

Providing expert legal advice and guidance on SaaS contracts, licensing agreements and other legal matters Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS agreements, including subscription agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), master service agreements (MSAs), and data processing agreements (DPAs), among others Advise internal stakeholders on legal matters related to SaaS products and services, including data privacy, security, intellectual property, and contract interpretation Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and finance, to identify and address legal issues throughout the SaaS lifecycle Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards impacting SaaS businesses Assist in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations Manage and oversee outside counsel as needed on specific legal matters or projects Provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal best practices and compliance requirements related to SaaS offerings

What we're looking for:



5+ years experience managing the full life-cycle of SaaS contracts, specifically with Financial Services customers An individual qualified to practice law in the UK A sound understanding of the procurement process within global tier 1 banks A strong understanding of banking regulations Strong stakeholder management skills
