About the role
We're looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Insurance Law & Compliance Expert to join our Group Regulatory, Risk & Compliance team. You'll play a key role in shaping SRG's global legal and compliance frameworks, supporting our expanding international operations and ensuring alignment across the Group. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will help guide strategic decisions and strengthen governance across multiple jurisdictions.
What you'll be doing:
Developing and maintaining an international licensing guide for cross-border insurance distribution.
Creating and refining a group-wide regulatory and legal change monitoring framework.
Providing legal advice on insurance matters and reviewing insurance and reinsurance wordings.
Supporting legal assessments in key regulatory areas such as economic sanctions and data privacy.
Contributing to group-wide legal and compliance initiatives, projects, and reporting.
Who we're looking for
You'll be a trusted advisor with deep legal and compliance expertise in the insurance sector. You'll bring a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach to solving complex regulatory challenges.
You'll need:
Strong legal experience in the insurance market (UK, EU or international).
Strong background in Commercial and Insurance Law.
Experience drafting and reviewing insurance and reinsurance wordings.
Proven ability to develop governance policies and frameworks.
Skilled in interpreting regulatory developments and advising business units.
Legal qualifications and professional integrity.
Excellent communication, planning and decision-making skills.
