City Lets Plymouth is growing -- and we're looking for an experienced Lettings Executive to join our energetic and ambitious team.

This role focuses on our co-living and student portfolio, which sits alongside our residential properties, and is ideal for someone with proven lettings experience who enjoys a fast-paced, varied, and people-focused environment.

We're seeking a confident, organised professional with hands-on experience in lettings and working directly with landlords -- someone who can combine exceptional customer service with commercial awareness to help us achieve full occupancy across our portfolio.

About the Role

As a Lettings Executive, you'll take ownership of the full lettings process -- from marketing and enquiries to viewings, tenancy progression, and renewals. You'll work closely with landlords, tenants, and internal teams to ensure our properties are let efficiently, professionally, and with the personal touch City Lets is known for.

This is a busy, varied role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Lettings

Manage and respond promptly to all lettings enquiries via email, phone, and walk-ins. Conduct property viewings and provide a professional, personable experience to all prospective tenants. Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, keeping them informed on market trends, pricing, and property performance. Create and maintain high-quality online listings with accurate descriptions and professional imagery. Proactively generate new business opportunities and support portfolio growth. Monitor lead pipelines and conversion rates, ensuring occupancy targets are met. Manage move-ins, checkouts, and inspections. Drive tenant retention and re-signing for the following rental periods. Upsell additional services where appropriate to enhance customer experience and revenue. Ensure all lettings activity complies with internal systems, administrative procedures, and relevant legislation.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings both experience and energy. You should have:

Previous lettings experience (essential) -- ideally within residential, HMO, or student accommodation. Experience dealing directly with landlords and managing client relationships. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. A confident, proactive, and tech-savvy approach to your work. The ability to work well in a fast-paced, evolving environment. A full UK driving licence (preferred).

Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 (Wednesday 9:00-7:00)
