Job Description

This is an exciting time to join the University of St Andrews Libraries & Museums as a Senior Library Assistant.



We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, adaptable team player who can also work independently to join Libraries and Museums. The successful candidate will have an understanding of how data can be used to share, deliver and improve service provision, and will support the development and ongoing delivery of services from across the Unit, including working with Acquisitions & High Demand, Collections Management, and Reading List services. The role holder will be expected to work across teams and sites, so having a flexible, adaptable and positive approach is key.



You will have a good general education to Scottish Higher Level or equivalent, be an effective communicator with a team-player attitude who takes an organised approach to their work to ensure daily service deliveries or project milestones are met effectively and efficiently.

This post will be primarily based at the Main Library and Eden Campus Eden Campus at Guardbridge, a state-of-the-art working environment for professional services units.
