We at Pitkerro care center are looking for a Senior Maintenance person to join our team at our beautiful, modern purpose-built care home.

Experience in the same environment would be preferable.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To promote and ensure the safety within the setting, ensuring that residents' wellbeing is paramount

Key skills

Be respective, promoting dignity and privacy to residents at all times.

Previous experience would be great in same environment.

Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on attention to detail.

Action any maintenance issues raised, giving priority to those issues that compromise health and safety, care standards, and security of the home in a timely manner

Carry out maintain work as required in the home, both internally and externally adhering to all safety procedures

Carry out planned health and safety checks in a safe and profession manner, aware at all times of the specialist care environment and surroundings.

Be aware of and adhere to the services security and emergency procedures.

Use, operate and store all tools, equipment and materials safely and securely to comply with statutory regulations e.g COSHH.

Organize the necessary maintenance materials utilizing the company trade agreements.

Recognize works which are beyond the scope of the maintenance person, and liaise appropriately with management to address these issues by contacting the appropriate contractors.

Carry out basic painting work within the home.

Attend training as requested by management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00 per hour
