About The Role:
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Processing of accruals and prepayments as informed by operational teams in line with financial processes and principles
Assisting other members of the business partnering team with month-end result production
Balance sheet reconciliations
Tracking and reconciling cash transactions through the business
Building relationships with other finance team members
Oversee a team responsible for payroll and intercompany postings ensuring postings are accurate and complete in a timely manner
Review and understand balance sheet reconciliations
Support the team completing balance sheet reconciliations across two systems and two chart of accounts
Support the finance manager with implementation of best practice within the team
Support the team through a challenging transitional phase including company hive ups and systems integrations
Other ad hoc duties as required.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
Must have Right to Work in the UK
Planning and diary management skills
Able to manage own workload and prioritise workloads to important deadlines
Clear communication skills (use of email and calls)
Understanding of catering or retail operations would be desirable to help improve understanding of data processing. Minimum AAT level 4 or sufficient QBE demonstrated through previous positions held
