About the role



You will take ownership of a portfolio of growth-focused clients, delivering high-quality management information alongside forward-looking insight and strategic support. Your role will cover performance analysis, forecasting, and cashflow management, helping clients understand their financial position and plan for growth. You will also prepare clear, concise board-level reporting and work closely with senior stakeholders to provide meaningful commercial insight and support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities



Preparing monthly management accounts with clear commentary and commercial insight Building and maintaining cashflow forecasts and longer-term financial forecasts Supporting clients with budgeting, scenario modelling, and decision-making around growth, investment, and cost control Translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders Working closely with founders and senior leadership teams to understand their business model, challenges, and ambitions Collaborating with internal teams across tax, audit, funding, and corporate finance to deliver joined-up advice Proactively identifying opportunities to add value beyond core reporting, including spotting risks, trends, and areas for improvement

Your knowledge, skills and experience



Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) Ability to prepare accurate, insightful management accounts Experience in preparing forecasts and cashflow models Strong analytical and communication skills Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practice Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proven experience in a similar role within practice or industry
