About the Role




The Senior Management Accountant Netherlands/Belgium is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the Netherlands/Belgium businesses, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements for the Netherlands/Belgium businesses. The Senior Management Accountant Netherlands/Belgium plays a key role in driving efficiency within the finance team and ensuring the company meets its financial objectives.

Principal Accountabilities





Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations in line with internal deadlines. Manage intercompany transactions, including foreign exchange considerations, and review overheads and non-operating expenses. Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures, statutory reporting (local GAAP), tax filings (e.g. VAT, corporate tax), and regulatory requirements such as SGR/SGRZ/CFR. Liaise with auditors, payroll providers, and local teams to ensure timely audits, payroll processing, and statutory submissions. Lead and inspire the finance team, fostering collaboration and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Partner with international stakeholders, including regional GMs and FP&A, to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost analysis. Drive systems and process improvements to enhance automation, data accuracy, and accessibility for key stakeholders.

Required Experience





Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Strong experience in financial reporting and management accounting. Technically strong with good knowledge of IFRS. Experience of working with international entities and working with external advisors to meet tax and compliance requirement. Experience working with external auditors. Proficiency in financial software (D365 preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
